2019 Camporee Oshkosh

This week over 50,000 are in Oshkosh, Wisconsin for the quinquennial international Pathfinder Camporee. More than 70 countries have sent Pathfinder clubs to camp, learn, make new friends, meet old friends, and most importantly, worship Jesus!
Our own Pleasant Hill Trailblazers Pathfinder club has nearly 50 Pathfinders in attendance. Director John Sorrell has been building and preparing the club for this event for the past five years. He is supported by a strong staff of volunteers.
Each evening, 50,000-plus gather in an outdoor amphitheater to praise the Lord and watch a live dramatization of a Bible story. The theme for the 2019 Camporee is “Chosen,” focusing on the story of David. Young people and adults are reminded that God has chosen each one of us for a special purpose. The question is, will we choose God to daily battle the giants in our life?
On Thursday evening, our club will be celebrating the baptism of Caleb Ranney and Aron Poblete by Pastor Miguel!
Please pray for all the youth attending the 2019 Oshkosh Camporee to have a special encounter with Jesus!
