Ten Days of Prayer

Happy
New Year! With the holidays behind us and a new year upon us, what
better time than now to refocus our hearts and minds on the highest
priorities! Have you wondered, what are God’s plans for you, your family
and your church in 2021? How does Jesus want to grow you and me?
Acts
2 describes the amazing account of 120 believers who gathered in the
Upper Room for 10 consecutive days praying for the power of the Helper.
After 10 days, the Holy Spirit was released in flames of fire upon every
person in the room!
As we begin 2021, don’t
you also want the Holy Spirit released upon you afresh and anew? I
certainly do! For the Spirit of God brings us conviction in our lives!
He gives us victory over strongholds! He grants clarity with our
priorities! He brings revival! He renews our hope and courage in a
strange new year. And the Spirit of God gives us His light to show Jesus
to those we meet.
If you want more Holy Spirit in your life, then I want to invite you to join our church for 10 Days of Prayer. Here’s how works:
Ten Days of Prayer begins each evening at 7 PM.
1. Join by calling 701-801-6996.
2. Each prayer session will last no more than one hour.
3. Each prayer session will begin with a short devotional.
4. You don’t have to pray out loud – you can just listen in if you so desire.
The
10 Days of Prayer began last night with our Wednesday evening prayer
meeting and will run through January 15. Tonight will be day 2.
As
we pray together, we will claim the promises of God found in His Word.
For example, we claim God’s promise to Zerubbabel as our own: “‘Not by
might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ says the Lord of hosts.”
(Zechariah 4:6).
God wants to do incredible
things, new things, in our lives and in our church! The power of God is
released especially when His people come together and pray!
“Let
Christians ask in faith for the promised blessing, and it will come.
The outpouring of the Spirit in the days of the apostles was the former
rain, and glorious was the result. But the latter rain will be more
abundant.” Ellen White
Whether you join us for just one night or every night, you will be blessed and revived by the Living Jesus!
Hope you can join us during our 10 Days of Prayer!
