Cheerful Benevolence

Earlier this week, an Adventist Church in Nikolaev reported that a
Russian missile landed just 25 feet from their structure. With God’s
help and protection it did not explode, but was half buried in the
ground.
Upon impact there
were people in the church basement seeking refuge from the air raid.
They prayed, and God immediately answered. Had the bomb detonated, there
would have been nothing left of the church.
The
Lord continues to protect His children in Ukraine who are relentlessly
being bombed and driven from their homes. May we continue to keep the
Ukraine people in our prayers, and may we also give as we are able. So
far, our church has given over $10,000 to provide essential food and
medical supplies. Click here to make a donation to Ukraine - Give Online

I also encourage you to remember your church and its monthly “Church
Family Budget.” Our monthly budget is $22,875. However, year-to-date, we
are $17,000 behind our budget. Please know that our church family
budget supports all our ministries, including the food pantry, children
and youth ministries, church employees, school subsidies, and many
outreach ministries including health, evangelism and concerts. Click

Remember
this—a farmer who plants only a few seeds will get a small crop. But
the one who plants generously will get a generous crop. You must each
decide in your heart how much to give. And don’t give reluctantly or in
response to pressure. “For God loves a person who gives cheerfully.” 2
Cor 9:6-7
